About the Role:
We are looking for someone to work in the 122 West store in Creekside, Whistler. You will be the face of 122 West and our customers' first point of contact so a positive, bright and bubbly disposition is crucial. You will be a bit of an all-rounder in our small team, helping out wherever required so flexibility is a big asset. We are looking for a full-time candidate.
The Perfect Candidate
- Has retail experience
- Has experience in customer facing roles
- Has a passion for decorating and interior design
- Is driven, detail orientated and self-motivated
- Has great time-management skills, is punctual and knows how to get on with stuff without being told
- Has excellent computer skills (Mac and PC)
- Has experience using the Shopify and/or Lightspeed platforms
- Opening and closing the shop mornings and evenings
- Merchandising the store and ensuring it looks great
- Cleaning the shop
- Working closely with the owner and other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the store, customer orders and interior design side of things
- Entering, monitoring and tracking orders
- Receiving and putting away orders
- Organizing weekly pickups and deliveries
- Liaising with suppliers and customers via email and over the phone
- Working on the website, uploading items and products and managing our online platforms
- Assisting customers with your excellent product knowledge and helping clients pick out and put together pieces for their homes
- Sourcing items from our 60+ suppliers to assist customers or our interior designers
