Our Response to COVID-19

The health of our team, and the health of our clients are our top priorities. 
More than anything, we want everyone who enters 122 West to feel safe while they are shopping. 
Below is a list of our Covid-19 practices that are being implemented to do our part in stopping the spread.

How We Are Caring for Our Clients
  • Our workplace policy ensures that team members  and other showing symptoms of COVID-19 are prohibited from our workplace
  • We are following all ordinances for our industry provided by WorkSafeBC
  • Masks are mandatory in the store for all staff and customers. We can provide a disposable mask if needed
  • We have implemented enhanced daily cleanliness and sanitation protocols
  • We have reduced our occupancy to 4 patrons to establish more space & social distance for those that are shopping
  • We are advising our customers to request assistance with products to minimize handling of merchandise
  • We are providing alcohol-based hand sanitizer at the entrance of the store, and at our cash desk
  • Plexi screens barriers will be provided at the Cash Desk & cleaned regularly
  • We are continuing to provide curb-side pick up for online/telephone orders and are encouraging our clients to visit our website to browse products and find information
  • We are happy to provide shopping by appointment outside of regular business hours

    How We Are Caring for Our Team
  • Our workplace policy ensures that team members and others showing symptoms of COVID-19 are prohibited from our workplace 
  • Staff members are required to sign a health check each morning before starting their shift
  • Masks are mandatory in the store for all staff and customers. We can provide a disposable mask if needed
  • Occupancy in our common areas (back store room) have been limited based on the size of the space and signs are posted
  • We have implemented enhanced daily cleanliness and sanitation protocols
  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers near doors, and payment stations  for customer and staff use, and making wipes available for wiping down touch points
  • Limit of two staff members rostered in the store at once with other employees to work-from-home - work stations for those working together in the store are more than 6m apart
  • We are operating under social distancing guidelines in our store, ensuring that interaction between team members and with clients can happen at a safe distance
  • Plexi screen barriers will be provided at the Cash Desk & cleaned regularly
